AK Broadcasts traces its professional foundations to 1999, rooted in international broadcast production and live news operations. The company’s early work was shaped through hands-on involvement with ARD German TV, focusing on field production, live news coordination, and technical broadcast workflows.
Between 2007 and 2010, AKB’s operational expertise expanded significantly through the establishment and management of a major international broadcast hub in Kabul. During this period, the team oversaw studio setup,
satellite news gathering (SNG), live transmission workflows, and multilingual broadcast operations for regional and international audiences. This phase established AKB’s core strengths in high-pressure environments, live broadcasting, and cross-border news coordination.
From 2010 onward, AKB’s work scaled across international newsrooms, providing production, field coordination, and broadcast support to leading global media organizations. The company became involved in breaking news coverage, conflict zone reporting, political developments, humanitarian crises, and major sporting events.
During this period, AKB developed a reputation for managing complex live operations, including satellite uplinks, multi-camera field setups, and fast-turnaround news production. The company supported broadcasters such as BBC News, ARD German TV, Al Jazeera, CNN, DW News, Fox News, TRT World, Channel News Asia, and others, delivering reliable production support across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
AK Broadcasts was formally established in 2019 as a full-scale broadcast production company, consolidating years of international experience into an independent operation. Since its launch, AKB has provided end-to-end production services, including live broadcast support, news production, investigative reporting assistance, and event coverage.
Today, AKB works as a trusted production partner for international broadcasters such as ITV News UK, ARD German TV, DW Asia, Mediaset Italy, and others.
